It’s Tuesday, and that means it’s time for another Quick Tip Tuesday. This week 8z Real Estate is introducing a feature on COhomefinder.com called “Who Wants What You Got,” where you can find out how many people are searching for a home just like yours. You can find it at ShouldISell.8z.com

 

With this tool, you can find out if people are interested in houses like yours and whether that means it’s a good time to sell your house or not. Newlands Market Update: 2011 vs. 2012 So Far

The year is flying by… here it is September already! What a beautiful time of year with cooler weather and beautiful days with the foliage starting to change.

 
The market overall has been stronger this year; it seemed like the switched turned on around March 2012 and we have seem a 19% increase in sales in Newlands in the first 6 months of the year over 2011. Interestingly the average price in 2011 for the first 6 months was $953,961 and in 2012 the average price is lower at $905,297 for the same time period.  Sellers have had to adjust prices to the market place.

 
Currently there are less homes on the market in general in the Boulder market and that is the same scenario in Newlands.  The interest rates for loans remain at record  low rates which is great for buyers ! Plus Newlands is a great place to live with Mt. Sanitas steps away and great shopping and restaurants just on the edge of the neighborhood. What a great place to live!!!
